Packing Supplies You’ll Need

For a basic 2-3 room apartment, here are the supplies that should be on your packing checklist.

  • 20 Medium Boxes – Great for most of your household items including books, collectibles and kitchenware.
  • 10 Large Boxes – Perfect for clothing and other bulky, but not heavy, items.
  • 110 yards of Packing Tape – Better to have too much than too little.
  • 80′ of Bubble Wrap – Great for fragile items but don’t wrap it too tightly.
  • 1 package of Unprinted Newswrap – Wrap your breakables without getting ink on them.
  • 3 cubic feet of Styrofoam Peanuts – Great for packing and shipping delicate items, reusable.
  • 2 Markers – Permanent black ink is best.

Helpful Online Resources

There are plenty of online resources and web sites that offer guidelines and sell moving supplies. You can even order a packing kit that includes everything you need, saving you both time and money.
